DRIVEME is a testbed project initiated by Volvo, recruiting people in Gothenburg to integrate autonomous driving technology into their daily life. They collaborate with regulators to lift regulations on the road segment that allows such testing.

Testbed purpose

The purpose is for Volvo to carry out human-centred design and test their autonomous solutions of switching between supervised and unsupervised mode in different contexts.

The vehicles are tested on public roads with local drivers
