Smart housing technology

A custom designed house in Malmoe used for testing smart solutions for sustainable living. The residents produce and control their energy and consumption using a tablet. The different flats test different energy solutions, as well as transportation services linked to the energy system.

Testbed purpose

The purpose of the testbed is to develop and test sustainable solutions for homes and living to be scaled up and used on a broader scale.

Context

Set of 5 apartments in Malmoe's "sustainable neighbourhood" that test different forms of energy use and control, different transport solutions and design.
