In collaboration with Vinnova, the City of Vasteraas, Sweden established MISTEL, a testbed for innovations in elderly care. The testbed is an arena for meetings between innovators and future users of their innovations. The 3-year project was launched in 2013, and went on to a testbed business in 2017 within the city government.

Context

The test environment is within homes of elderly and disabled people and in sheltered housing. MISTEL also offers the innovators a special test apartment.
